The Odesa Regional Organization of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Patronage Service of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Participating in the signing process and coordinating future joint actions were the newly elected head of the regional organization, Serhii Bratchuk, and the head of the Naval Forces Patronage Service, Oksana Aleksiieva.
The signed Memorandum opens up new opportunities to support defenders, including the identification and implementation of initiatives aimed at improving their working conditions, as well as educational activities to promote the development of the trade union movement within the Naval Forces of Ukraine.

The main areas of cooperation between the parties will include:
– conducting systematic analysis of existing issues in the field of social protection for servicemen and women, combatants, war veterans, their family members, and other vulnerable groups, as well as identifying ways to resolve them;
– drafting proposals to improve legislation in the field of social protection for servicemen and women, combatants, war veterans, their family members, and other vulnerable groups;
– participation in the implementation of projects and initiatives related to the objectives of the Memorandum, and more.
“Partnership with the Patronage Service of the Naval Forces of Ukraine, which we have just officially formalized, opens up great prospects for joint work. This Memorandum allows us to clearly outline our shared intentions, define areas of action, agree on principles of cooperation, and take steps toward achieving meaningful results for our Defenders,” concludes Serhii Bratchuk.
