Through the joint efforts of the Kyiv and Mykolaiv Regional Organizations of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, 50 children of trade union members living in frontline areas of the Mykolaiv region traveled to Poland for their winter holidays.

In the city of Płońsk, a safe and comfortable environment was created for the young guests, providing decent living and dining conditions, engaging leisure activities, and a rich cultural and educational program. The trip to Europe gave the children an opportunity, at least for a while, to escape the realities of war, regain their strength, and feel care, safety, and peace of mind.

The implementation of this important project became possible thanks to the personal commitment, coordinated actions, and responsible approach of Rahim Babaiev, Head of the Kyiv Regional Organization of the Trade Union, and Oleksandr Rusnak, Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Organization of the Trade Union.

The All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine expresses sincere gratitude for assistance in organizing the trip to the Mayor of the city of Płońsk, Andrzej Pietrasik, the President of the association “Idziemy na Spacer,” Sławomir Jarosławski, the founder of the Siepomaga Foundation, Patryk Urban, as well as the coordinator of charitable projects of the “Idziemy na Spacer” association in Ukraine, Halyna Tretiakova.
