In Kyiv, the first joint meeting organized by the Women's Wing of the Trade Union took place. Sofia Cherepanova, the Deputy Head of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, Athletes, and Workers, stated that the Women's Wing is involved in the rehabilitation and socialization of veterans and military personnel, and they also care for prisoners of war, the deceased, and their families.

She explains that the women have united around a common noble goal, and the main slogan of their activities is: "Hold on, because someone else is holding on for you too."

"Currently, Ukrainian women are facing significant challenges because their husbands are at war, in captivity, or unfortunately, already on the Heavenly front. This burden has fallen on our shoulders. At one time, social activism saved me. I found myself in a circle of like-minded women who understood my condition, shared my pain, did not judge me, but instead supported me and didn't let me fall. The Women's Wing of the Trade Union will operate on this very principle," adds Sofia Cherepanova.
