What you need to know about payments for the period of treatment:
1. The full remuneration plus an additional remuneration of UAH 100,000 per month is paid proportionally to the period of stay:
• For the treatment of an injury (wound, contusion) sustained while participating in hostilities or performing duties in a combat zone;
• On leave for treatment or rehabilitation after a severe injury (wound, contusion), which is confirmed by the conclusion (decision) of the military medical commission (MMC).
2. Full financial support, but without additional remuneration, is retained for servicemen who are on leave for treatment after a mild injury, in accordance with the resolution of the Military Qualification Commission.
Payments must be made for the ENTIRE period of treatment and vacation, including the time spent moving from one hospital to another, including in case of treatment outside Ukraine!
In case of returning for treatment of an injury/injury after leaving the service (the so-called break in treatment), the full financial support and an additional payment of UAH 100 thousand per month, proportional to the period of treatment, must be paid for the entire period of continued treatment. The amount of such payments is not affected by a break in treatment or placement at disposal.
Documents confirming the right to payments for the period of treatment and rehabilitation:
• Form 100 (certifies the fact of injury/injury and the date of the event);
• A certificate on the circumstances of the injury must be issued within 5 days from the date of injury (establishes a connection with the defense of the homeland or service);
• Medical documents on inpatient treatment (record the length of stay and diagnosis);
• Resolution (decision) of the military medical commission, set forth in the certificate, regarding the causal relationship of the injury, the degree of severity and the need for leave.
Recommendations from trade union lawyers:
If a serviceman has been hospitalized in a medical facility for more than one month and has not received payment in full, the first necessary step is to submit a report to his immediate commander informing him of his inpatient treatment for injury/injury and requesting payment of additional remuneration provided for by Resolution No. 168 for the entire period of stay.
We also recommend that servicemen who have been on treatment and leave for a total of more than two months, when passing the next military medical commission, submit an application requesting that the injury (wound) be recognized as severe, due to disability for more than 60 calendar days.
