On July 19, 2024, we witnessed an important event that became a vivid example of how interaction between different structures contributes to the development of our country. In the wide hall of the House of Trade Unions of Ukraine, we all waited for what we had been waiting for - the anniversary of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, sportsman and sphere workers.
Opening the event, the head of the union, Serhiy Bizov delivered an inspirational speech. His words provoked a wave of applause, confirming the importance of the union's efforts!
A special part of the event was the awarding of outstanding members of the union.
Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine (FTU) Osoviy Hryhoriy Vasylovych awarded the Badge of Honor of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine “For the Development of Social Partnership“:
1. Pavlyuk Oleksandr Oleksiyovych general-lieutenant, Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
2. Plakhuta Igor Viktorovich general-major, Commander of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
3. Krasilnikov Dmitry Serhiyovich general-major, commander of the troops of the Operational Command “North”.
The Trade Union Badge was also awarded to the Deputy Chairman of the Primary Organization of MS AVIA-GRADE Research and Production Firm LLC of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, sportsmen and workers in the following areas, Semenov Volodymyr Borisovich.
On behalf of the Commander of the Land Forces Oleksandr Pavliuk, the departmental awards were presented:
1. Kostenko Serhii Volodymyrovych
Trade Union of Workers of the Metallurgical and Mining Industry of Ukraine;
2.Tishayev Serhiy Mykolayovych
Trade Union of Energy and Electrical Industry Workers of Ukraine;
3. Shahid Mansur Aliyovych
Trade Union of Healthcare Workers of Ukraine;
4. Prudnikov Pavlo Viktorovich
Trade Union of Nuclear Energy and Industry Workers of Ukraine;
5. Klymenko Volodymyr Volodymyrovych
Trade Union of Oil and Gas Industry Workers of Ukraine.
On behalf of the Territorial Defense Commander Ihor Plakhuta, the departmental awards were presented to members of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, athletes and workers in the spheres:
1. Porokhniuk Oleksiy Volodymyrovych;
2. Kunakh Georgii Yevhenovych
3. Mozgovyi Oleksiy Mykolayovych.
However, one of the most touching moments was the presentation of certificates for apartments to our military, active members of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, athletes and workers in the spheres:
1. Yuriy Mazurko, a soldier of the 100th Army Brigade;
2. Rakhim Babayev, to a soldier of the 241st Territorial Defense Brigade;
3. To the wife of Volodymyr Sergiyevsky who served in the 72nd Brigade and was the head of the primary trade union organization Stryj.
This initiative confirmed the trade union's deep gratitude and support for its heroes.
The solemn signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the trade union and partners laid the foundation for further work in the field of social support and rehabilitation of defenders and their families.

• People's Deputy Hennadiy Kasai;;
• Chairman of the Subcommittee on Social Protection of Veterans' Rights of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Social Policy and Protection of Veterans' Rights Anatoliy Ostapenko.
Our event was aimed at summarizing the results of the trade union's work and showing respect for the defenders of Ukraine who fulfill their duty to the state at the cost of their lives.
