At the initiative of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, a "round table" was held on the topic "Legal and social aspects of the implementation of the right of servicemen to membership in trade unions"

At the opening of the event, the Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, Serhiy Byzov, emphasized the need to develop a coordinated position on amendments to the current legislation, namely, on the right of servicemen to membership in trade unions for the period of military service.

До Representatives of the executive and legislative branches of government, military and law enforcement officials, public organizations, and academics from higher education institutions were involved in the expert discussion.

The event was held in the format of a constructive discussion. An agreement was reached to continue the dialogue and practical actions to develop and streamline the issue of granting military personnel the right to trade union protection.

The All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine continues to protect the rights of its members, for which it will continue to participate in the development and implementation of state policies in the field of social protection and legal. Social and legal protection of trade union members-military personnel is the main priority of the Trade Union.
