“I thank every Ukrainian woman who today, in this incredibly difficult time of war, has the courage to live, love, create in Ukraine, work for its good, and also give birth to and raise her children here. However, I want to dedicate my award to the closest men around me. This is my team and the members of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, which is predominantly made up of servicemen and veterans who today are simply holding the line against the occupiers on the front. I also dedicate this award to the men in my family. To my fallen brother David, who in the summer of 2022 gave his life for us. To my brother Artem, who spent 3 years in Russian captivity and did not give up. And also to my husband, who since 2014 has been defending our country in its hottest spots. They are the ones who give me strength not to give up, to fight, and to keep going,” said Sofiya Cherepanova, Deputy Chairwoman of the Trade Union, from the stage.
The All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine congratulates the women on receiving such an honorable award and wishes them to reach new heights on their life journey!
