The Kharkiv Regional Organization of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, together with the primary organization of the municipal institution “Kharkiv Regional Center for Physical Health of the Population ‘Sport for All’” of the Trade Union, organized a sports celebration for trade union members and their children — internally displaced persons from the village of Dvorichna, who lost their homes due to the war.
Participants were divided into three football teams that took part in a friendly tournament, which included veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war living in the Kharkiv region. After the competition, together with the Trade Union’s partner, the charitable foundation “Misto-Kh,” the teams were awarded cups, balls, and charitable aid. Participants had the opportunity to choose their own gifts: treats, sportswear, and household items. Notably, most consciously chose household cleaning products for their families as their awards.

Also, as part of the event, the head of the Kharkiv regional organization of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, Serhiy Mokreiev, held an educational talk with the participants about the trade union movement—its importance, significance, and the power of unity.
“Today, there were many emotions, genuine smiles, support, and team spirit. I want everyone present here to feel through their own experience that the trade union is not just about rights—it’s about a community that unites, supports, and motivates,” Serhiy concluded his speech.
