The Deputy Head of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, Rakhim Babayev, together with his team, visited Okhmatdyt — the largest children’s hospital in Ukraine, a multidisciplinary diagnostic and treatment facility in Kyiv that provides specialized, highly qualified medical care to children of all ages.
Currently, the facility is treating over 700 children from all regions of Ukraine who have suffered injuries as a result of enemy missile attacks. According to Yulia Tkachenko, Head of the Early Childhood Department at the National Specialized Children’s Hospital of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, many of these children are in serious condition.
“Our children are our future. We hold the front to leave them a free and peaceful country. And we must never forget about them,” emphasized Rahim Babaev.
The guests arrived with gifts for the young patients and essential first aid supplies. Immediately after the meeting, dozens of trade union members donated blood, and this good tradition will continue in the future.
