Deputy Head of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war Rakhim Babaev, during his rehabilitation trip to Europe, joined the walking journey of his comrade Andriy Madzharov, who is covering a 1500 km route from the Polish border to Brussels. The defenders walked 10 km of the total route together, side by side. According to Andriy, Ram's unexpected appearance and support along the way brought joy to his solitary tour and lifted his spirits.

"I went to support our comrade and trade union brother because I know personally how important unity is during hard trials. I call on everyone to join, so that on this noble but difficult path, Andriy always has the friendly shoulder of like-minded people nearby. Our brother has a great goal — to walk 1,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian-Polish border to Brussels, to the decision-making center that concerns Ukraine and the European Union. He walks for the sake of saving lives and preserving Ukrainian statehood! The road is long and hard, but he will overcome it! Because I know personally what trials he has already faced in life. He is a warrior. He is a Cossack. He knows how to fight and win!" — Rakhim Babaev commented on his decision.
As of today, Andriy Madzharov has completed nearly one-third of the total route. The defender has already walked 440 kilometers!
We are proud! We are inspired! We are grateful!
