Today, within the walls of Ukrprofzdorovnytsia, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Kyiv City Organization of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine and the Kyiv City Police Protection Department.

The purpose of the Memorandum is the joint activity of the parties based on partnership, aimed at improving public safety and order, protecting the rights and freedoms of individuals and citizens, as well as conducting career guidance and educational work among the veteran community regarding opportunities for their development and social adaptation. A separate area of cooperation is the employment of veterans in the ranks of the police protection service.

“The signing of this Memorandum is an important step towards creating a reliable partnership between the veteran community and the police protection service. For us, it is important not only to strengthen safety and order in the capital but also to open new opportunities for veterans — from professional adaptation to employment within the police ranks. This cooperation will help our comrades realize their potential in peaceful life and continue to be valuable to society,” says Ihor Mari, head of the Kyiv City Organization of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine and a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
