From September 25 to 29, Madrid will host international multi-sport competitions in adaptive sports for combat veterans — both with injuries and without — called the Strong Spirit’s Games. Ukraine will be represented by the national team, which includes veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war, members of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine: Oleksii Mishchenko and Yevhen Oleksenko.

The participation of our defenders in the Strong Spirit’s Games is proof of the strength of spirit and faith in life after trials. Such competitions help veterans who have been wounded return to active life, find new meaning, and inspire others by their own example.
