A veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war and a member of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, Andriy Madzharov has been walking across Europe for 62 consecutive days. His goal is not only to reach Brussels but also to bring the truth about Ukraine to the world, highlight the heroism of our defenders, and support fellow veterans as well as those currently fighting on the front lines for freedom.

Today, Andriy has already covered over 1,100 kilometers and continues his journey through Germany. His path is not just a test of endurance but also a symbol of Ukraine’s unity with Europe, as European values — freedom, dignity, and solidarity — form the foundation of our struggle.

“Я йду, щоб нагадати: українські воїни тримають не лише свою землю, а й захищають європейську демократію. Ми маємо право бути в сім’ї європейських народів, адже платимо за це найвищу ціну”, — наголошує ветеран.
