Member of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war Andrii Madzharov confidently covers the kilometers of his walking journey from the Ukrainian-Polish border to the European Parliament.

The purpose of this journey is to draw Europe’s attention to Ukraine, to tell about the struggle of the Ukrainian people against the aggressor firsthand, to show the unbreakable Cossack spirit thanks to which, from generation to generation, we do not give up but fight for freedom. It is precisely thanks to this inner strength and self-sacrifice of Ukrainians that our Western partners still live in safety.

Today is the 75th day of the journey. Andrii has already reached Germany, where he is warmly welcomed by Ukrainian and German friends. Most of the route is behind him — more than 1300 km!
