Today, Sofiia Cherepanova — Deputy Chair of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine and Head of the Trade Union’s Women’s Wing — paid a friendly visit to Kyiv Preschool Institution No. 536.

The purpose of the visit was to express gratitude to the staff and parent community of the kindergarten for their consistent charitable efforts in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The institution regularly organizes fundraising events for the military. The children themselves create patriotic crafts, which are later delivered to the front by Sofiia. Thanks to the efforts of the young students and teachers, more than 200 children’s artworks have already been sent to Ukrainian defenders on the front line.
In addition, the staff and parents contributed to fundraising efforts for tactical stretchers used to evacuate the wounded and for a charging station for Trade Union members carrying out combat missions in the Pokrovsk sector.

“As a mother, I am especially touched by the kindergarten team’s commitment to fostering national and patriotic values from an early age. It’s deeply moving to see the children’s smiles and hear their words of gratitude and support for our defenders. The little ones come up and tell stories about soldiers they know — it’s so sincere and heartfelt that I sometimes can’t hold back tears! It is for these children that we hold the line, to give them a future in a peaceful country they will be proud of,” shared Sofiia Cherepanova.
Such initiatives are a vivid example of unity between generations, where even the youngest Ukrainians contribute to the common cause — Victory.
