In the cozy “Roslynka” studio in Kyiv, another therapeutic session was held for the Women’s Wing of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine. The event was initiated by Sofiia Cherepanova, Deputy Chair of the Trade Union, who has long been developing programs to support and help Ukrainian women recover, particularly those connected to military service and national defense.

This time, the participants engaged in a creative upcycling practice — together with artist Olena Horai, the women created painted-appliqué posters featuring botanical motifs. This format combines an artistic approach, eco-friendliness, and gentle therapeutic effects: the women worked with colors, natural patterns, and their own emotions, transforming them into symbolic compositions.

According to Sofiia, such sessions have become an important space for mutual support during these challenging times of war:
“Our strength lies in unity. At these sessions, we don’t just create something beautiful — we restore to each other a sense of support, calm, and inner resources. As the head of the Women’s Wing, I strive to ensure that every participant in such Trade Union events feels that she is not alone, that she is important, and that her voice matters,” she emphasized.

A pleasant conclusion to the session was the distribution of gifts from benefactors — thoughtful tokens that added even more care and support. Each participant received a commemorative pin from the online store “Terpinnya.UA” and the opportunity to take part in a prize draw with surprises from the candle workshop “Omeli Candle,” Lviv studios “SNIP” and “Lovely Hook,” the brand “DoDo Socks,” the artistic casting jewelry workshop “Zgardy.ua,” and Kyiv-based massage therapist Nadiia Dukul.

The Women’s Wing of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine sincerely thanks each benefactor for their contribution to women’s mental health. Unbreakable when together!
