The Mykolaiv Regional Organization of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine continues to implement social initiatives aimed at supporting children in the difficult conditions of wartime.

As part of its charitable activities, the trade union members organized a New Year’s event for the pupils of the municipal institution “Mykolaiv Special School No. 6.” Despite the air raid alert and the children having to stay in a bomb shelter, they were given gifts, attention, and sincere emotions.

“Even in the most difficult circumstances, we are obliged to stand by children. Our task is to give them a sense of care, safety, and celebration, to show that they are not left alone with the war. Childhood must remain bright despite all the challenges,” said Oleksandr Rusnak, Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Organization of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine.

The event was made possible through cooperation with the educational institution and the support of partners, in particular the organization “Angels of Ukraine” (USA). We thank our partners for their contribution to the happy childhood of young Ukrainians.
