The development of sports and the upbringing of a healthy, strong, and conscious youth are among the key factors for Ukraine’s future. Sport shapes character, endurance, discipline, and patriotism—qualities that are especially important for the younger generation in times of challenge for the state.

The Ukrainian Karate Cup among adults, as well as the Ukrainian Championship among children aged 10–11 and 12–13, took place in the city of Zviahel. Members of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine and their trainees participated in the competition, demonstrating a high level of preparation. Trade Union members who competed included Dmytro Fedotov — 3rd place (men, -84 kg) and Diana Luchechko — 3rd place (women, +68 kg).

The trainees of Trade Union coaches also stood out: Anastasia Dumych — 2nd place (women, +68 kg), Sofia Kulchytska — 3rd place (girls 12–13 years, +52 kg), Myroslav Kokhany — 7th place (kumite, boys 12–13 years, -40 kg), Polina Shyndyuk — 7th place (kata, women).

Every appearance on the tatami is not just a fight for medals, but also proof that Ukrainian youth are growing strong, determined, and ready to represent their country with dignity. We are proud of our athletes and coaches and are confident that perseverance, belief in their own abilities, and love for Ukraine will surely lead to new victories—both in sports and in life. Together, we are raising a generation of strong Ukrainians!
