The Women’s Wing of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine continues to create a space of support, trust, and inner renewal for women whose lives have been forever changed by the war. Recently, a special women’s circle was held at the Trade Union House in Kyiv — a meeting dedicated to self-care, emotional recovery, and discovering one’s own sources of strength.

The participants took part in a perfume-making masterclass led by Ukrainian defender and perfumer Mohammed Dzhafarov. Under his guidance, each of the 10 participants created her own signature fragrance, selecting notes according to her feelings, mood, and inner state.
A pleasant surprise for the women of the Trade Union was a bouquet of white roses grown in Ukraine and kindly provided by the company “Camellia” — as a gesture of care for the mental well-being and inner resilience of Ukrainian women during wartime.

For the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, such gatherings are an important part of its systematic support for women who remain strong every day, support their families, help others, and at the same time need a space where they can pause, take a breath, and restore their inner strength.

“A woman does not always have to be strong for everyone. Sometimes, the most important thing is to allow yourself to pause and remember your own needs. Our strength lies not only in our ability to endure, but also in knowing when to take care of ourselves. That is why we create women’s circles — so that every woman can simply be herself, restore her inner resources, and feel that she is not alone,” said Sofia Cherepanova, Head of the Women’s Wing of the Trade Union.
