The All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine continues its systematic work aimed at improving the living conditions of citizens facing difficult life circumstances. With the support of its partners, the Trade Union is able to provide assistance to orphanages, geriatric homes, medical institutions, territorial communities, and also help improve the living conditions of servicemen in the combat zone. International partners, particularly European friends concerned about the fate of the Ukrainian people, play an important role in this work.
Recently, together with TIKOFOUND, the Trade Union successfully implemented another humanitarian initiative. German philanthropist Mikki Kirsten personally delivered a significant shipment of aid to Ukraine for children living in shelters. Using his own vehicle, he brought portable charging stations, two generators, long-lasting food supplies, personal hygiene products, and educational toys for the children.
As a token of sincere gratitude for his support and significant contribution to the charitable activities of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, Deputy Head Sofia Cherepanova, who coordinated the international cooperation, presented Mikki Kirsten with a certificate of appreciation and a commemorative patch.
“We are sincerely grateful to all European volunteers who, in this challenging time for Ukraine, do not remain indifferent and help our people endure. Your support is not only material assistance but also a powerful expression of solidarity and humanity that gives us strength to move forward,” said Sofia Cherepanova.
