A charity run, Go to the Future, took place in Kyiv with the participation of military personnel who had undergone amputations and prosthetic procedures. Members of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, Athletes, and Workers also took part in the event.

All funds raised during the event will go towards prosthetics and rehabilitation for severely wounded Ukrainian defenders, provided by the Future for Ukraine Foundation.

"This run supports people with prosthetics. We want to inspire and show that amputation is not a sentence and that an active life is possible with quality prosthetics," the organizers of the run noted.

In turn, the Deputy Head of the Trade Union, Rahim Babaev, adds that such events build confidence in people who have suffered severe injuries and are recovering, and help to popularize the rehabilitation of military personnel.

"A veteran should not be excluded from society; on the contrary, they should become an integral part of the full life of the country," believes Rahim Babaev.
