Loyal friends of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine — the band SKRYABIN and Yurko Yurkesh Yurchenko — raised nearly 30,000 hryvnias during their August tour in Germany to support the treatment and recovery of wounded trade union members.
This charitable initiative was made possible thanks to the active efforts of Sofiya Cherepanova, Deputy Head of the Trade Union, who oversees support for wounded defenders of Ukraine and their rehabilitation. Among those who received assistance is Roman Bevzyuk, a severely wounded soldier of the 43rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, who lost three limbs and one eye in battle near Kupiansk but has not lost faith in life.
"We always strive for our work to have a real impact on the lives of those who defended our country," says Sofiya Cherepanova. "Thanks to partnerships with caring individuals and creative groups like the band SKRYABIN and Yurko Yurkesh, we can take concrete steps to support our heroes."
Such initiatives not only provide financial aid but also inspire society to join good causes. They prove that support and creativity together become a powerful force for restoring strength and hope for those who risked their lives for Ukraine.
