The Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine continues to strengthen partnerships and create new opportunities for the professional development of its members. This is an important part of the Trade Union's ongoing efforts to enhance support for service members, veterans, their families, and the development of the veteran community.

Recently, as a result of the newly established cooperation with the NGO "Women of the Lineage" and at the invitation of its Chair, Iryna Taranova, Yuliia Zak, an activist of the Trade Union's Women's Wing, took part in the workshop "Strategic Planning in Civil Society Organizations." The event was held as part of the "Impulse" project, implemented by the East Europe Foundation in partnership with the International Renaissance Foundation with the support of Norway and Sweden. The training focused on developing leadership and management competencies, as well as modern strategic planning and organizational development tools in the context of war.

The knowledge and practical tools gained will help strengthen partnership ties and enhance the effectiveness of the Trade Union's initiatives aimed at supporting service members, veterans, and their families. We extend our sincere gratitude to the NGO "Women of the Lineage" and personally to its Chair, Iryna Taranova, for their trust, the strong start of our partnership, and for creating new opportunities for the professional development of the Trade Union's members.
