A training seminar of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine's Trade Union Lawyers Network has concluded in Kyiv. The seminar was held as part of the "Legal Services for Trade Union Members" project with the support of the Danish Trade Union Development Agency.

Over the course of two days at the Academy of Labour, Social Relations and Tourism of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, participants discussed current issues related to the protection of employees' labour rights, combating workplace mobbing and discrimination, the specifics of establishing trade union organizations, providing psychological support to employees during wartime, as well as legal mechanisms for protecting citizens affected by hostilities.

The Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine was represented at the event by Deputy Chair Sofia Cherepanova and Women's Wing activist, attorney Tamila Aleksyk. The knowledge gained, practical case studies, and exchange of experience will contribute to further strengthening the Trade Union's capacity to effectively protect the labour, socio-economic, and legal rights and interests of war veterans, service members, their family members, and the families of fallen Defenders of Ukraine.

Together, we are strengthening legal support and protection for those who defend and rebuild our country.
