In Mykolaiv, judo competitions for the Cup of the Regional Federation were held among athletes born in 2011–2016. The Mykolaiv Regional Organization of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine traditionally acted as a co-organizer and partner of the event.
The tournament brought together about 100 young judokas from Mykolaiv, Snihurivka, and Pervomaisk. The competitions took place in an intense yet friendly atmosphere and became a vivid confirmation that sport in the region is actively developing and has a promising future.
It is important to note the systematic work of Oleksandr Rusnak, Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Organization of the Trade Union, aimed at supporting and developing sports in the region. A significant contribution to the promotion of judo is also made by trade union member Serhii Barashko—the President of the Mykolaiv Regional Judo Federation and the head of the primary trade union organization in the region.
“Supporting sports is a choice made by the strong. It is a responsibility for a healthy generation, strong character, and the future of the country. Sport raises those who know how to fight, win, and never give up. By investing in sports today, we are shaping a strong Ukraine tomorrow,” emphasizes Oleksandr Rusnak.
