The All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, within its capacity, works systematically to support medical institutions and improve the level of medical care, in particular for children.

Recently, the Mykolaiv Regional Organization of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, represented by its Head Oleksandr Rusnak and the Head of the Primary Trade Union Organization of the Bashtanka Community, Yurii Myroshnyk, visited the Bashtanka Multidisciplinary Hospital.

During the visit, the Trade Union members met with the hospital staff, discussed the facility’s current needs, and established further communication for systematic cooperation aimed at improving the level of medical care for children. As part of the meeting, the union representatives also delivered toys and warm clothing to families with children who have found themselves in difficult life circumstances and are receiving inpatient treatment at the hospital.

The main goal of the initiative is to provide children with constant support and attention, and to give parents a sense of care and compassion.
