At the territory of the Bukovel tourist complex, the nationwide veterans' competition “Strong Spirits Games” took place, organized by the Ukrainian Strongman Federation in cooperation with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.
The tournament featured 220 veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Based on its results, a National team will be formed to represent Ukraine at the international competition “Strong Spirits Games – 2025.” The competition included 9 adaptive disciplines, among them bench press, rowing on the “Concept-2” machine, exercises on the air bike, snatch, and kettlebell lifts weighing 16 and 24 kg.
Achievements of our trade union members:
🔹 Oleksii Mishchenko, head of the Vyshneve primary organization of the Trade Union, confidently completed all stages of the competition and achieved a result that virtually guarantees him a spot on the National team.
🔹 Yevhen Oleksenko, Deputy Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Trade Union Organization, won 1st place in the bench press, once again confirming his strength and consistency.
Oleh Kasian, the First Deputy Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Trade Union Organization, took 2nd place in the kettlebell snatch, delivering a bright and worthy performance
