The All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine continues to expand its activities in the regions. Recently, a working meeting took place between the Union’s head, Serhii Byzov, and the director of the city youth sports school of the Sumy Regional Organization of the All-Ukrainian Physical Culture and Sports Society “Kolos,” Volodymyr Shteininger.

During the discussion, the parties addressed prospects for developing the trade union movement at the institution, issues of employees’ social protection, and strengthening cooperation in the field of labor rights. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to establish a primary trade union organization.

Summing up the meeting, the Head of the Trade Union emphasized the broader mission of such cooperation—not only in the field of labor relations, but also in the development of sports and the support of children growing up in the difficult conditions of frontline regions.
“Today, the development of youth sports is an investment in Ukraine’s future. It is especially important to support children in frontline regions, giving them the opportunity to train, develop, and feel cared for. At the same time, the Trade Union consistently defends the rights of employees—coaches, teachers, and all specialists who work with children every day. Our task is to ensure them proper social protection, decent working conditions, and confidence in the future,” emphasized Serhii Byzov.
