The tragicomedy \"Sisters,\" based on the personal stories of its heroines and texts by SSO sniper Yuliya Vobornikova-Holovko, presents the female perspective on the war and tells five unique stories\u2014funny, poignant, and sincere. The women soldiers speak about their true selves: those who wear both body armor and dresses, who can shoot\u2014and laugh until they cry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the main roles in the play was performed by the activist of the Union\u2019s women\u2019s wing, wife of a fallen Hero of Ukraine, and servicemember of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Marina Verkhoglyad.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"765\" height=\"1019\" src=\"https:\/\/profzah.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/photo_2025-07-29_12-36-43-edited.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3177\" style=\"width:473px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/profzah.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/photo_2025-07-29_12-36-43-edited.jpg 765w, https:\/\/profzah.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/photo_2025-07-29_12-36-43-edited-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/profzah.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/photo_2025-07-29_12-36-43-edited-9x12.jpg 9w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 765px) 100vw, 765px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Sofiya Cherepanova and Marina Verkhoglyad<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIn the personal stories shared on stage, important questions are raised: how civilian society perceives women soldiers, whether it recognizes their right to be vulnerable, to have a family, to combine the role of protector with being a woman, mother, and wife. This play, and the activities of the Theater of War Actions as a whole, serve as a powerful tool for the social adaptation of defenders to civilian life.
