The educational project was initiated by Sofiya Cherepanova, Deputy Head of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine. Thanks to her efforts, the first group of participants began learning Ukrainian Sign Language.
The first lesson was dedicated to the International Week of the Deaf. The participants learned about the history of sign language and began studying dactyl \u2014 the alphabet of Ukrainian Sign Language.<\/p>\n\n\n
