In February 2025, a serviceman who had been discharged due to injury turned to the legal department of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine. Upon his discharge, the military unit failed to pay him for the last two weeks of participation in combat operations and for one and a half months of medical treatment following his injury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The case was taken up by experienced military lawyer Larysa Barbanova, who specializes in protecting the social rights of servicemen. Pre-trial communication brought no results, so the case went to court. The court partially satisfied the claim: payments for the treatment period have already been awarded, and the decision has entered into legal force. The payments for participation in combat operations are currently being appealed.<\/p>\n\n\n

Currently, two similar cases are being heard in the Kyiv District Administrative Court. The All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine continues to stand up for the rights of soldiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
