Representatives of the Kingdom of Denmark became acquainted with the activities of the Mykolaiv regional organization of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine during the October Social Dialogue Forum of the Mykolaiv region, which was held within the framework of the program \u201cStrengthening Labor Market Partners in Ukraine in 2023\u20132025.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the conversation with the trade union members, the Danish delegation expressed the desire to visit the veteran center recently opened in Mykolaiv at the initiative of the head of the Mykolaiv regional organization of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine, Oleksandr Rusnak. The purpose of the visit was to get a closer look at the center\u2019s activities and the regional system of social support for defenders.<\/p>\n\n\n

    The parties discussed the development of local partnerships, support for veterans and their reintegration into peaceful life, as well as the role of social dialogue in the recovery of the Mykolaiv region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

    A particularly strong impression on the guests was made by the social protection system for trade union members, as members of the Mykolaiv Regional Organization of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine receive a full social package \u2014 from hygiene products and food supplies to support for medical treatment, education, and recreation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Danish delegation highly praised this approach, calling it an exemplary model of social care and support for veterans, which could serve as an example for implementing similar initiatives in other regions of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n
