An open championship of the Specialized Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve in track and field was held in Mykolaiv for boys and girls born in 2008\u20132011 and 2012\u20132015. Young athletes competed in a range of disciplines, including the 60 m, 200 m, 800 m, 1500 m, and 3000 m races, the 60 m hurdles, as well as pole vault and high jump.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Mykolaiv Regional Organization of the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine took part in organizing the awards ceremony for the athletes. The head of the organization, Oleksandr Rusnak, was an honorary guest of the competition and personally presented medals and awards to the athletes who placed 1st\u20133rd.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cFor us, it is a great honor to support young athletes who, through their perseverance and strength of spirit, set a true example for our youth. Sport builds character, and such competitions unite the community and inspire us to move forward,\u201d emphasized Oleksandr Rusnak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also thanked the coaches and organizers for developing track and field in the region and wished the young athletes new victories and continued athletic inspiration.
