On the birthday of the outstanding Ukrainian graphic artist, calligrapher, and creator of the Ukrainian alphabet \"Rutenia,\" Vasyl Chebanyk, the Central District Library \"Pecherska\" opened the exhibition \"Rutenia. The Return of the Nation's Code\"\u2014a project that continues the Master's legacy and reminds visitors of the power of the Ukrainian word, the letter, and the nation's identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has already become a cherished tradition to mark Vasyl Chebanyk's birthday with the opening of an exhibition that not only honors his memory but also continues the work of his lifetime\u2014the restoration of the Ukrainian language's own graphic code. This year's exhibition brought together the artist's friends, colleagues, and followers, who continue to promote his ideas and further develop the \"Rutenia\" project.<\/p>\n\n\n

At the invitation of the #InfoVARTA civic initiative, with which the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, the event was attended by the Union's Deputy Chair, Sofiia Cherepanova. An important component of this partnership is the activities of the Union's Women's Wing. Its members regularly participate in the \"Rutenia. Writing in the Ukrainian Language\" workshops, where they explore the Ukrainian graphic tradition and the creative legacy of Vasyl Chebanyk, discovering the depth of Ukrainian culture, its symbols, and the nation's code.<\/p>\n\n\n
