The All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine continues to provide systematic assistance to those who require special attention and care. Under the leadership of the Trade Union’s Deputy Chair, Sofiia Cherepanova, the Women’s Wing actively supports children affected by the war, orphans, internally displaced persons, and the families of fallen Defenders.
The Trade Union regularly provides clothing, footwear, hygiene products, household supplies, food packages, books, board games, and toys — everything that helps people feel cared for and meet their basic needs.
One example of such support was the assistance provided to the family of a fallen Defender of Ukraine — his wife Nadiia and their twins, Mia and Yehor, who recently turned two. The family received essential clothing, footwear, toys, and food supplies.
“We believe that even a small act of attention can become a source of hope. Our task is not only to provide material assistance, but also to give a sense of safety, love, and support — especially to children, because they are our future. We are doing everything possible to ensure that this future is bright,” said the Head of the Women’s Wing of the Trade Union, Sofiia Cherepanova.
