Today, a meeting of the leadership of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine with the heads of the FTUU's affiliated member organizations took place. During the meeting, participants discussed current issues concerning the trade union movement, the work plan for the second half of 2026, and prospects for the development of international cooperation.

The keynote report was delivered by Chair of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, Serhii Byzov. He presented the participants with the results of his recent international business trip, including his participation in the 114th Session of the International Labour Organization and the 30th Convention of the American Federation of Labor. In his address, the FTUU Chair highlighted the key international meetings and negotiations that strengthened the position of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine and Ukraine on the international trade union stage, while also opening new opportunities for cooperation with international partners and institutions.

The Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine was represented at the meeting by the Deputy Chair of the Trade Union. During his speech, he thanked Serhii Byzov for his effective leadership as Chair of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, acknowledged the significant achievements of his international activities, and expressed support for the active efforts to expand cooperation with international trade union organizations and partners.
