Recently, 50 children returning from a winter holiday in Poland, organized by the All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine and Polish philanthropists, were welcomed at Kyiv Railway Station. During the meeting, the organizers noted the genuine joy in the children’s eyes and their delight from the trip, which allowed them to take a break from anxious daily life and spend time outdoors in a friendly, supportive environment.

The All-Ukrainian Trade Union of Defenders of Ukraine sincerely thanks our Polish partners for organizing the children’s health and recreational activities:

  • Sławomir Jarosławski and the organization Stowarzyszenie “Idziemy na Spacer”;
  • Piotr Pażucha and the Siepomaga Foundation;
  • Patryk Urban, founder of Siepomaga;
  • Andrzej Pietrasik, Mayor of Płońsk.

In an extremely difficult time for our country, you extended a helping hand exactly when it was most needed. Thanks to your support, our children experienced bright, warm, and happy days that they will remember forever. The Polish people have stood by us from the very first days of the war—not just in words, but in action.

We extend special thanks to:

  • Halyna Tretiakova — for her supervision and invaluable contribution;
  • Tetyana Anopko and the caregivers who accompanied the children on this unforgettable journey;
  • To the parents — for their trust and support.
    And, of course, to our children — you are incredible! Wonderful, talented, and united, you supported one another and showed that even in difficult times, it is possible to keep light, kindness, and joy. We are proud of you!

We thank everyone who became part of this initiative. Stronger together!
